Launching Out

2019 is going to be exciting! We are launching out, taking God at his Word, and believing that HIS power will draw the attention of the people.
"And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men." Luke 5:10
Jesus gave this command to Simon Peter in Luke 5, saying, “Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.” (Luke 5:4) After Peter’s obedience to this Word letting down his nets into the deep, Jesus miraculously blessed Peter and his partners James and John with so many fish that their boats began to sink. Jesus taught an important lesson in this event to Simon Peter, giving him a new purpose for the future—“Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.” (Luke 5:10) Because of Peter’s obedience to the voice of the Lord, he went on to become a great soul winner. His first message on the day of Pentecost led 3,000 souls to Christ.
World Missions to Asia wants to launch out into the deep in 2019, deeper into the work of Jesus Christ in obedience to His call. January 9 Pastor Jerry Fletcher and I, Fred J. Wynn, will be traveling to Sharjah and India to Evangelize in the Labor Camps of the UAE and host a WMA Paths to Power Leadership Conference. We are equipping Christian pastors and leaders with training and resources to strengthen their ministries in India.
Proverbs 11:30 says, “…he that winneth souls is wise.” Just as Peter became a fisher of men, the desire of World Missions to Asia is to win men and women for God in 2019—to see souls saved. Thank you for your continued prayer and support.
